Compendio Mundial de la Educación 2012
La última edición del Compendio Mundial de Educación de la UNESCO destaca la urgente necesidad de abordar el problema que representa el
alto número de niños y niñas que repiten grados y dejan la escuela antes de
concluir la educación primaria o el primer ciclo de secundaria.

The journal received a face-lift over the past months and plans to go beyond
its current version in the summer months of 2009 exploring the world of Web 2.0
to boost the online publishing activity of academics and distinguished experts.
The Harvard Classics: A Free, Digital Collection in Harvard, History, Literature, Philosophy
During his days as
Harvard’s influential president, Charles W. Eliot made a frequent assertion: If
you were to spend just 15 minutes a day reading the right books, a quantity
that could fit on a five foot shelf, you could give yourself a proper liberal
education. The publisher P. F. Collier and Son loved the idea and asked Eliot
to assemble the right collection of works. The result was a 51-volume series
published in 1909 called Dr. Eliot’s Five Foot Shelf. Later it would simply be
called The Harvard Classics.
